Insurance Claim
Insurance Claim Warm Reminder: When the value of your package exceeds 50 US dollars, it is recommended to purchase insurance for your package. If the goods are lost or damaged, compensation will be made in accordance with the courier claim standards. Please carefully read the following relevant terms and conditions:
I. Package Signing Matters
1. When signing for the package, you must inspect the goods in person with the courier to confirm whether the outer packaging of the package is intact (whether there is obvious damage or being opened, and whether there is a significant difference in weight). If there is any abnormality, please inform the courier or customer service in a timely manner;
2. If any abnormal situation such as package loss or damage occurs, please contact customer service in a timely manner for inquiry and handling.
II. Insurance Claim
1. Insurance Purchase and Compensation Instructions
Insurance Premium = Declared Value of Package * 2% (A uniform insurance premium of 2 US dollars will be charged for declared values within 100 US dollars). The maximum compensation amount for insured packages is 2000 US dollars.
a. Loss: Compensation Amount = Declared Value (If the actual value of the goods is lower than the declared value, compensation will be made according to the actual value)
b. Damage: Compensation Amount = Declared Value * Damage Ratio (If the actual value of the damaged goods is lower than the declared value, compensation will be made according to the actual value of the damaged part). Note: The actual value of the goods shall be based on valid proof documents of the goods value provided by the customer, such as invoices.
2. Compensation Instructions for Uninsured Packages
a. Loss: Compensation Amount = Shipping Fee * 3 (If the actual value of the goods is lower than 3 times the shipping fee, compensation will be made according to the actual value)
b. Damage: Not within the scope of compensation. Note: The actual value of the goods shall be based on valid proof documents of the goods value provided by the customer, such as invoices.
3. Deductible Instructions
a. If the outer box is reinforced and undamaged but the goods in the inner box are damaged, no compensation will be made.
b. Fragile goods, contraband, goods infringing intellectual property rights, and goods not declared, falsely declared or concealed by you are not within the scope of compensation.
